Video Editor

ScreenPrism

June 2017 – May 2018

I was responsible for creating and editing 10-15 minute video essays that analyze popular and beloved film and television series. Through shot choice, rhythm, and pacing, as well as my sense of visual storytelling, I illustrated the critical points of these academic essays so that all viewers can understand them. To further substantiate claims made in the analysis, I also researched and integrated film clips, photos, interviews, news articles, music, and other online sources into the video. I worked closely with the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of the company to plan, construct, and deliver professional videos in conjunction with new releases.

Post-Production Intern

4TH ROW FILMS

May 2016 – August 2016

Over the course of my editing-related work for the company, I edited documentaries, advertising campaigns, and demonstration videos. I researched archival interview footage to create and edit for a documentary centering on speechwriters, I delivered marketing videos for Microsoft, Avon, and Hanna Lee Productions, I edited a promotional video for Mountain Dew, and added Spanish captions to various Avon videos.
